Join Miss Bethany for movement, music, and stories at in-person storytimes in the library community room! Storytimes recommended for children ages 3+ are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 am.

Join the Mystery Book Club at 6:45 p.m. on the second Thursday every month for lively discussions on different themes. New members are always welcome!

2026 Themes

Join Miss Bethany for a storytime geared for ages 0-23 months focusing on songs, fingerplays, and short books to grow their minds and motor skills. Fridays at 8:30am (before the library opens).

Geared towards ages 2-3, Tiny Tots is held Fridays at 10:00am and will focus on shorter books, puppets, songs, and movement activities with a playtime afterwards.

Supplies will be provided to create shampoo bars and sugar scrubs. Open to ages 18+. Space is limited; registration  is required. Sponsored by the Friends of the Ruth Culver Community Library.

Make your own mini piñatas out of cardboard and craft supplies! All supplies and surprise fillings will be provided. We will NOT be breaking the piñatas at the library! This event is especially for grades 6-12. No registration necessary.

The Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Ruth Culver Community Library will be held in the library community room Wednesday, March 25 at 6:30pm. Election of Officers and Directors will take place. There are openings on the Board.

Join us for a special storytime event during Sauk Prairie's spring break week! Emily Matzke from Prairie Raised Beef and some farm animal friends will be joining us here in the library.

Are you staying home for spring break? Come to a special movie night at the library! Popcorn and cotton candy will be served. Event is intended for grades 6-12. Please note we're staring at 5:30pm this week!
